A RESILIENCE RECIPE

MIND - BODY - HEART
Resilience Recipe 2024.jpg

How resilient are you, and the people and teams you lead?

During challenging times our habits can make or break us. Investing in wellbeing, both for ourselves and our people helps build and maintain resilience, giving us all the opportunity not only to survive, but to thrive.

Here are my five ingredients for a successful resilience recipe, creating happier and more productive leaders, teams, organisations and lives:

1. Positivity

What we focus on expands. Choosing positivity, especially during challenging times can transform our mindset. Positivity is infectious, creating a ripple effect resulting in happier teams, organisations, families and lives.

2. Gratitude

A grateful attitude is proven to increase health and happiness. A simple gratitude journal can help us acknowledge those magical moments - both big and small. And not only in the moment but to reflect back on, building our gratitude muscle.

3. Mindfulness

Meditation and mindfulness, practiced regularly can be a complete game changer. A chance to press pause, take time out and re charge, with significant benefits both in the short term and over time, for our mental and physical health.

4. Movement

Regular exercise helps body and mind, giving us space to decompress and re energise. Micro moments of movement throughout the day all add up, and if you have the chance to incorporate fresh air and nature, even better.

5. Connection

Create regular space for moments of real connection - be that in person or virtual. Interactions that make you smile, leave you feeling positive and help re-charge your batteries, boosting your happiness and wellbeing.
